PerDeadline, Netflix revealed today thatYouSeason 5 will debut at some point in 2025, though they weren’t able to narrow it down any further than that. Production on the final seasonwrapped in August, so now everything is in post as the finishing touches are added to what will be a 10-episode finale. There’s no word yet on if it will be split into halves like Season 4 was,but we wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the way it all shakes out.

You: Joe Goldberg’s Worst Crimes, Explained
One does not get to do all the terrible things Joe has done in You and call themselves good. Here are his 10 worst crimes (so far).
Two posters (seen below)were also released today forYouSeason 5, with one showcasing newspaper clippings of Joe Goldberg’s various victims, including Guinevere Beck and Love Quinn. The other is made up to look like a shadow box which houses trinkets from all of Joe’s victims, set against a backdrop of more newspaper articles. Season 5 will see the return of Badgley’s character to New York City to close out the series, but other than that, plot details are being kept under wraps right now.

Penn Badgley Says ‘You’ Season 5 Will Have a “Spectacular Finish”
One of the most-asked questions when it comes toYouis:when will Joe finally get his comeuppance for all the havoc he’s caused? When last we saw him, he was attempting to take his own life, which seemingly put a bow on things until it was revealed that he was –gasp!– still alive. Set photos leaked earlier this year that supposedly showed himgetting dragged away by police, but who knows? That could have just been a scene being shot to portray his guilty conscience.
Whatever happens, we at least know thatYouSeason 5 will be the last, and for Badgley, he toldTudumearlier this year that returning to New York brings things full circle to deliver what he calls a"spectacular finish."

“Every season they manage to find new space to make it interesting and relevant. And this season, I think somehow coming back to where it started allowed for it to just become grounded in the way that it needs to also have this kind of spectacular finish.”
At this point, we can only guess what that means, but one thing’s for certain:Youhas been a cultural phenomenon these past few years that deserves a proper ending, so kudos to Netflix for allowing that to happen. If you haven’t seen it, check out Seasons 1–4 streaming now,and look for Season 5 to drop in 2025.
