Back in April, it was revealed thatKevin Smith’s new movieYoga Hoserswas picked up by Invincible Pictures, with the filmmaker taking his movie on tour before its theatrical release on July 29. Shortly thereafter, the first trailer andposterwere released, with the tour kicking off on June 1 in New Orleans. The tour continues today with a stop at the Houston Improv in Houston, Texas, but for those who can’t make it to this screening, the second trailer has debuted with plenty of new footage, including a new look atJohnny Depp’s Guy Lapointe.

The director had previously won appeals forClerksandZack and Miri Make a Porno, which were both originally given an NC-17 rating, but given an R rating upon appeal.
After theYoga Hosers tourstop tonight at the Houston Improv in Houston, Texas, the tour continues June 12 at Studio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse in Columbus, Ohio. The final three dates of the tour are July 8 at The Carolina Theatre in Durham, North Carolina, July 12 at The Improv in San Jose, California and July 17 at the Cobbs Comedy Club in San Francisco, California.Yoga Hoserswill hit theaters on July 29, going up against Universal’sJason Bourne, STX Entertainment’sBad Momsand Lionsgate’sNerve.
Last year,Kevin Smithteased that his final True North movie,Moose Jaws, could feature the death of his beloved on-screen character Silent Bob. The actor/director is expected to make sequelsClerks IIIandMallrats 2in the near future as well, and since both those movies featured both Jay and Silent Bob, we’ll have to see if they’ll both be back for those sequels.
