Universal Pictures has shared all the details on how, where, and when you can watch the preview for its forthcomingsequel, starringCynthia Erivoas Elphaba Thropp andAriana Grandeas Glinda Upland, and it turns out that it’s getting a big-screen premiere.Wickedis returning to theaters for one night only on June 4, with the trailer for the follow-up film debuting immediately after itsDefying Gravityclimax.

The studio behind the two-partWickedextravaganza, directed byJon M. Chu, shared a post on Instagram (seen below) in response to fan demand for theWicked: For Goodtrailer. “Wickedreturns to theaters for one night only in the US and Canada on June 4 with a special first look at theWicked: For Goodtrailer,” reads the caption of the video, which was published alongside a press release, confirming that screenings will debut “simultaneously in all North American time zones so that all attendees will be able to see the trailer at once.”

Convincing ‘Wicked’ Theory Points to Major Plot Twist in ‘Part Two’

This Easter Egg in Jon M. Chu’s Wicked starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande could suggest a major plot twist about Elphaba in Part Two.

The trailer will likely be released online in the same week as its cinematic preview, but those wanting to get ahead of the curve will need to attend the special screening next month. The event will no doubt prove to be a “popular” choice for fans ofWicked,as it gives them another chance to return to Oz beforeWicked: For Goodreleases in theaters on Jul 24, 2025, one year after the first film. ‘Wicked: For Good’ Screened Its First Footage at CinemaCon

TheWicked: For Goodtrailer wasscreened exclusively at CinemaConin April, giving attendees a first look at the next chapter of the saga of Elphaba and Glinda. The second movie will follow on from the events of Part One, with Elphaba declared an enemy of the state by the Wizard (Jeff Goldblum) and Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh). The footage offered a sneak peek of Oz’s most iconic duo, and also featured new takes on musical favorites, such as “For Good” and “No Good Deed,” from the second act’s show-stopping soundtrack.

Anticipation has been steadily building for the trailer to be released online, but the best look at the movie so far has come by way of promotional materials. A new poster was spotted at CinemaCon, giving a glimpse ofErivo and Grande as their respective characterswearing some daring and dazzling new attire.
