Another ‘The Boys’ Spin-Off Makes Its Long-Awaited Return
AlthoughVought Risingwill tell the origin story of the corporation that has wreaked havoc since the first season ofThe Boys, it is unconfirmed if the prequel’s storyline will connect directly with the events of the fifth and final season of Prime Video’s flagship drama. However, that’s not the case forGen V,which returns with a long-awaited second season later this year. The show, whichfollows a group of super-powered studentsat the sinister Godolkin University, will directly reference the events ofThe BoysSeason 4. There is also a good chance that those characters will end up appearing in the final season of the parent show, which is expected to be full of deadly twists and turns.
Gen VSeason 2 stars Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Hamish Linklater. The show returns on Prime Video on September 17. Read the official synopsis:
