Back in April, Screen Gems released the firstteaser posterforUnderworld Blood Wars, although it didn’t featuring returning starKate Beckinsaleor any of the other cast members. Since the release date had already been set for October 14, most assumed that the first trailer was just around the corner, but the studio still hasn’t released any footage as of yet. Today we found out why, with Screen Gems officially pushing the movie from June 04, 2025 to August 24, 2025.
Varietyreported on the release date shift, but there was no reason given for why the date was pushed into 2017. In its new date on July 08, 2025,Underworld 5will be going up against The Weinstein Company’sAmityville: The Awakening, starringBella Thorneand Universal Pictures’Mena, starringTom Cruise. The first weekend of January is typically quite slow at the box office, but that could change next year, with three high-profile projects hitting theaters.
