To his wife and kids, Harry Tasker is a boring sales representative that works for a computer business. He’s always out for meetings and conferences but never has time for his family. In reality, Harry is living a double life as a government spy. As an elite intelligence officer, he’s fighting crime and catching the bad guys, all the while using his sales job as a cover. However, his cover is soon blown when his wife finds out about his secret life, and he decides to bring her on the team.
Harry Tasker is played bySteve Howey, who is best known for his role as Kevin Ball in the television series,Shameless, and the CW series,Reba.Howey also starred in movies likeSomething Borrowed and Day Shift.

Helen is Harry’s wife and the mother of his two children and works as a language professor. Between her job and family, Helen is tired of the mundane and repetitive routine. She loves her husband, but with all the meetings, conferences, and late nights, she can’t help but suspect him of cheating. She soon discovers Harry’s secret life and, while she is shocked, she’s also thrilled. Helen’s done with the boring parts of her life and sees a great opportunity when Harry asks her to join the team. This new role is also the perfect opportunity to reignite the spark in their marriage.

Mike O’Gorman as Luther Tenet
Luther Tenet is Harry’s associate. The two often work together and, like Harry, he poses as a computer consultant when he is actually an undercover government agent. He is smooth, confident, witty, and good at his job. Luther also believes that secret agents should remain single, as relationships can lead to issues, as seen in Harry’s case.
Luther is played by the actor and musicianMike O’Gorman. He is recognizable from his appearances on various television series such asPerry Mason, Detroiter, A.P. Bio,andCity Island. He is best known for his comedy sketches of Donald Trump onThe Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
Erica Hernandez as Maria Ruiz
The tough, calm, and calculated Maria Ruiz is another operative working with Harry. She has a complicated and strained dynamic with her co-worker, Luther, due to something that happened during a previous mission.

Lucas Jaye as Jake Tasker
Jake Tasker is the younger son of Harry and Helen and is Dana’s younger brother. Unlike the rest of his family, Jake is a completely new character for the show, and did not appear in the original film. InTrue Lies, Jake is played byLucas Jaye. Jaye is best known for his roles inThe Sleepover, Driveways,andMerry Happy Whatever.
Omar Miller as Albert “Gib” Gibson
Albert “Gib” Gibson is Harry’s friend, teammate, and partner. He helps Harry cover for him when he needs to lie to his wife about his work. Despite helping Harry lie to his wife’s face, Gib doesn’t appreciate him inviting Helen to the team. Gib is played by theCSI: MiamistarOmar Miller, who is best known for his role as Walter Simmons in the series.
