The Morning Show Season 3 Episode 9 Ending, Explained: Paul Mark’s Plan Is Finally Revealed
The Morning Show’s Paul Marks has some skeletons in his closet that viewers of the critically acclaimed series were anxious to discover.
However, Alex takes what Bradley has told her seriously. On her way home, she texts Bradley that she should go home to Hanover when, in fact, Bradley said she would be going to West Virginia. This was Alex’s way of testing if Paul was spying on her, and lo and behold, when she gets home and tells him about Bradley, he says that Bradley should go back to Hanover.

Alex is obviously shaken at finding out that Paul is indeed the villain that Bradley warned her about. The Morning Show’s seasonfinale also shows Cory struggling with the implications of the article published by Vault and the fact that his beloved network will be sold to the highest bidder. He struggles to find a solution until he makes a deal with another billionaire, Reid (Paul Guilfoyle), promising to give his company Sloan a piece of UBA equity if he gives the network a loan worth $8 billion. However, Paul finds out about the deal and manages to get Reid on his side.

When the day of finalizing the sale comes, Alex shocks the entire board and Paul by offering a new deal that involves UBA and NBN merging.

The Morning Show Season 3, Ending Explained
With Paul’s deal to buy UBA having fallen through, everything begins to unravel. There might be some pleasure in watching a crooked billionaire fall from grace, but it was still heartbreaking to watch Alex lose someone she thought would be her partner. Paul did not only lose Alex. He had to confess to NASA that he had been lying about their rocket being capable of longer space flights when they were still facing safety issues.
After Paul offers Cory $10 million to leave UBA and sign an NDA, Cory refuses his offer, knowing that the consequences would include his well-kept secrets being revealed to the world. The allegations published in the tabloid Vault were still a problem that Cory had to deal with. So he and Bradley had to do a lie detector test so the investigators could find out what actually happened.
