It’s finally here! Though maybe a day late and a dollar short, as the saying goes. DirectorPaul Feighas officially released the first photo of the new femaleGhostbusterssuited up and ready to bust ghosts. Heshared the image on Twitter, following a leaked photo from the set that made the rounds yesterday. The set photo didn’t have the girls in their full-costumes though. Here, we seeMelissa McCarthy,Kristen Wiig,Leslie JonesandKate McKinnonwith their proton packs strapped on, standing in front of the rebooted Ecto-1. And it looks cooler than expected, no?
These past few days,Paul Feighas officially released the first images of the new femaleGhostbusters costumesandProton Packs. He followed that up giving us all a first look at the newEcto-1 Ghostbusters car. And last night, we got a look at one of the new vehicles, theEcto-2 motorcycle. A retro-fitted Honda Scrambler, it’s interesting for the sole fact that it gives us our first (not very good) look at the rebootedNo Ghostssymbol, which does for the original iconic logo what Ms. Pac-Man did for Pac-Man (basically, it slaps a bow on its head and calls it good).
Shooting is continuing to happen in Boston and New York, with production to continue throughout the summer. Other cast members includeChris Hemsworthas the secretary,Andy Garciaas the Mayor of New York City, along withMichael K.
