In just under two months, the firstStar Wars spin-off,Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, will hit theaters, with anticipation higher than ever after the final trailer debuted. Today we have word that the lucky fans in the U.K. will actually get to see this adventure in theaters a day early, with the movie set for release on December 15, just ahead of the U.S. debut on December 16. There are a few other countries that will get to see this a bit early, ahead of the U.S. release.
The Star Wars UKTwitterbroke the news today along with a brief video of the X-wing battle shown in thefinal trailerthat dropped last week. The film’s IMDB page reveals that a number of countries will get to seeRogue Oneon December 14, such as Denmark, Belguim, France, The Netherlands, Sweden and Taiwan. There are also several other countries aside from the UK that will get a December 15 release, such as Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Portugal, Russia and many more.
