After immense hype over the past several months,Spider-Man: No Way Homehas stuck the landing with its debut in theaters. Critics have gotten behind the new movie with the early reviews showing universal praise forTom Holland’sthird solo movie as theMarvel Cinematic Universe’sweb-slinger. With more than 100 reviews now turned in with more and more getting continuously added, the score is sitting at 95% Certified Fresh, as almost every critic who’s gotten the chance to catch the movie has left the theater impressed.

Adam Graham of the Detroit News noted, “Jon Watts, who also helmed the previous two chapters in the series, mixes humor, action and human moments well, and he keeps the film moving nimbly, despite its nearly two-and-a-half-hour running time.”

We won’t be getting into any spoilers here, but it’s certainly a good sign that the movie is scoring so well with its reviews. This has long been perhaps the year’s most anticipated movie, and with that hype comes the risk of disappointing the filmgoers who may be coming in with heightened expectations. Critics are largely in agreement that the newSpider-Manmovie doesn’t lose track of the heart and humor that was present in the previous movies with Tom Holland in the lead, so chances are if you enjoyedHomecomingandFar from Home, you’ll have a good time withNo Way Homeas well.
