Godzilla will be in good company on HBO Max, as the streamer is already the exclusive home ofthe world-renowned Studio Ghibli catalogin the United States, and it is now adding a new batch of titles as part of its licensing deal with GKids. According to apress release, the hit filmShin Godzilla,which hails from director Hideaki Anno and co-director Shinji Higuchi,will arrive on the platform alongside several other acclaimed films after an initial wave of new content on Sept. 1, 2025, but an exact premiere date for the feature has yet to be announced.
