While watchingDeadpool & Wolverine, it’s hard to imagine how any of the cast got through a single scene without corpsing.Ryan Reynoldsrecently showed that even he’s impervious to breaking character. The thirdDeadpoolfilm, and the character’s first adventure in the MCU, perfectly captures the tone of aDeadpoolcomic book. In between moments of heartbreaking and world-ending consequences, Reynolds' titular hero can’t help but crack a joke at the expense ofhis co-star Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Marvel president Kevin Feige, or himself. Along the way, Deadpool is joined by several variants, including the universally adored Dogpool.
Ryan Reynolds recently took toX/Twitterto share his love of Dogpool with the world, revealing a blooper involving the incredible canine. During the scene where Deadpool and Wolverine encounter Nicepool (also Ryan Reynolds), Deadpool’s infatuation with Dogpool leads him to receive numerous kisses from the long-tongued dog. While filming, Dogpool’s tongue appeared to be a little too distracting for Reynolds, who corpsed in the middle of the take, much to the amusement of Hugh Jackman.“Dogpool’s tongue is an acquired taste,“Reynolds' caption read.“I recommend not acquiring it.“Check out the video below:

Despite what some fans might believe, Dogpool is a real dog. Peggy won the Ugliest Dog in Britain award (judged by some very cruel people), andReynolds knew he had to cast her as Dogpool.Speaking toEmpire, Reynolds said he felt the dog had an immediate connection to Deadpool. He explained:
“The reason why I was a huge proponent for her was because she feels like the animal manifestation of Wade Wilson.”

His love for the comic book character extends to the Dogpool variant, but even after making two successfulDeadpoolmovies, Reynolds thoughtDogpool was too outlandish for the big screen.
Deadpool Opening Track Climbs the Charts as Fans Cannot Get Enough
Deadpool & Wolverine star Ryan Reynolds has revealed whether he performed that crowd-pleasing dance routine.
Speaking toBBC Radio 1before the release ofDeadpool 2in 2018, Reynolds was asked about Dogpool potentially appearing in the third installment. At the time, Reynolds had no knowledge of his iconic anti-hero venturing into the MCU, let alone bouncing between multiple timelines with the TVA. Reynolds said:
“Dogpool! Now we’re getting crazy in terms of branching out. You want to keep it small and personal. But Dogpool would be a fun character to incorporate.”
