We now have our answer and the answer is Monday. This news was announced shortly after a newThanksgiving Dayfinal trailer was unveiled.
Atom Tickets, an advanced ticketing platform, spilled the beans when they announced they were doing a promotional tie-in forStar Wars: Rogue One. Atom revealed that the tickets would be going on sale Monday, November 28, in the U.S. They already went on sale last week in the U.K. Fandango stepped in and further revealed that the tickets would go on sale at midnight in the U.S., which is definitely good to know for those who are hoping to see the movie first. So if you want to get your hands on some early showing tickets forRogue One: A Star Wars Story, you’d better be prepared to stay up a little late this Monday.

Nobody is expectingRogue One: A Star Wars Storyto do whatStar Wars: The Force Awakensdid at the box office, but it will still absolutely crush. By the timeThe Force Awakenshit theaters it had sold more than $100 million in advance tickets. Again,Star Wars: Rogue Onemay not hit those crazy numbers, but it will certainly be big and the power of Disney, especially when combined with the power ofStar Wars, should never be underestimated.
In addition to the news that tickets are finally going on sale for the very first everStar Warsspinoff, a bundle of brandnew imageshave surfaced. First off, Empire Magazine got their hands on a couple of exclusive images that show off some of the new characters who are going to be featured inRogue One: A Star Wars Story. One of the images highlights Bodhi Rook, who is played byRiz Ahmedas well as some of the other less central, but still cool looking, new characters. The other image features the buddy duo with very opposing views, Baze Malbus, played byJiang Wenand Chirrut Îmwe, played byDonnie Yen.

Not only did we get these new Empire images, but some very exciting new international images have surfaced forRogue One: A Star Wars Storyas well. There are several pretty coolIMAX posters, but easily the best new image is a gigantic new banner image for the movie that is pretty much everything fans want this movie to be. It teases the looming battle betweenthe Empireand the Rebels, the new AT-ACT and most importantly, the Death Star.
