Darby stars as Casper, a time traveler trapped in the past who befriends Holly, a jaded drifter. They exploit his knowledge of the future, oblivious to the consequences they have set in motion, while a more competent time traveler, Doris, tries to stop them. The rest of the cast includes Gabrielle Graham as Holly, Janine Theriault as Doris, Julian Richings as Percy, and Amanda Barker as the librarian.

Following its debut at Fantasia Film Festival last year,Relax, I’m from the Futurehas been met with rave reviews from critics, and currently stands at 80% onRotten Tomatoes(with an audience score of 96%).

Katie Hogan of FILMHOUNDS Magazine praised the perfectblend of comedy and sci-fi, writing, “As an excellent mix of comedy and science fiction, neither overwhelms the other genre, even with the odd friendship paring and doomsday looming.”

B.L. Panther of The Spool meanwhile, applaudedRelax, I’m from the Futurefor its “ironic humor” and a standout performance from Janine Theriault as Doris.
