Production onPirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Taleshas been under way for the past few months, andwe already got a brief glimpseatJohnny Deppas Captain Jack Sparrow in a behind-the-scenes photo from the set. Today, producerJerry Bruckheimerrevealed a new photo of the actor in full costume, as he is seen being tied to a post by two enemy pirates. Wereported last month that the actorwas injured on the set, but production wasn’t notably impacted. What did Jack do to deserve such a fate? We likely won’t know for quite some time, since the sequel isn’t slated to hit theaters until July 21, 2025, but hopefully we get more photos of the actor as production continues.
Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him.
