The modern dominance that superhero movies enjoy at the box office is largely due to the great strides that CGI has made in the past two decades. But as life-like as computer-generated special effects have become, they still have some limitations. Director Patty Jenkins ran into some of those limitations while designing the main villain Cheetah for her upcoming movieWonder Woman 1984. Those limitations made Jenkins decide to opt for keeping the CGI for the character to a bare minimum....

Hugh Keays-Byrne has passed away. He was 73-years old. The English-Australian actor played Toecutter in the 1979’sMad Max, then reunited with George Miller for 2015’sMad Max: Fury Road, where he played the villainous “Immortan Joe.“The Man From Hong Kongdirector Brian Trenchard-Smith revealed that the Keays-Byrne died Wednesday in the hospital. No other information has been given as to the cause of death. Keays-Byrne is one of three actors to play two separate and characters in theMad Maxfranchise, the others being Bruce Spence (Gyro Captain inMad Max 2and Jedediah inMad Max: Beyond Thunderdome) and Max Fairchild (Benno inMad Maxand Broken Victim inMad Max 2)....
