Voice acting is a difficult job. Not only do voice actors have to give fictional characters an identity, but they often have to do it without ever seeing the character on screen. Sometimes productions are still in the animation stages when they’re voiced, other times that they’re not even close. Whether it’s a beloved character that appears on an animated TV show or a Disney character that needs its own unique identity, voice actors do the work of bringing imaginary beings to life....

Director Luca Guadagnino and star Daniel Craig’s filmQueerhas found a streaming home and release date. Based on William S. Burroughs' 1985 novella of the same name,Queersees Craig play a fictionalized version of Burroughs where he falls in love with Eugene Allerton (Drew Starkey), a much younger man.Queerearned positive reviews and was one of the Top 10 films of 2024 by the National Board of Review. Craig was nominated for multiple awards for his performance, including The Golden Globes, the Critics' Choice Awards, and the Screen Actors Guild Awards....

Veteran actorAndré Maranne, best known for playing Sgt. François Chevalier in thePink Panthermovies, has sadly passed away. The Times of London reports that the actor died on April 12, though the news of his passing is just recently making the rounds in the press. He was 94 years old. As Sgt. François Chevalier, Chief Inspector Charles Dreyfus' (Herbert Lom) assistant, Maranne first appeared in his most famous role inA Shot in the Dark(1964)....

With production continuing onAnt-Man and the Waspin Atlanta, new set photos emerged over the weekend, offering a better look at Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly in their fullAnt-Man and Wasp costumes, without the masks. There are also new photos that show Michael Douglas' Hank Pym, who is seen in some photos wearing an FBI hat and jacket, although no details about why he’s supposedly working for the FBI have been revealed....

TheAvengerscharacterFalconhas had a few different looks in both film and comics over the years, but the most iconic look is definitely his red and white suit, which has never been seen on the big screen. Falcon actor Anthony Mackie knows this and claims that he’s been begging Marvel for years to let the character get back to the colors that most comic fans identify him with instead of the black tactical gear suit that he wears in the movies....

TheTwisted Metalseries has found its home. PerDeadline, the video game adaptation is heading to NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock where it has just been given a full series order. As previously reported, the show starsAnthony Mackie(The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), who’s also set to lead his own Captain America movie for Marvel Studios and Disney. Michael Jonathan Smith (Cobra Kai) is writing the series and will serve as showrunner. Mackie and Smith are executive producing alongside Will Arnett and Marc Forman under their Electric Avenue production banner....

It was just announced, amidst the ongoing testimony of Elizabeth Holmes concerning the Theranos trial, thatJennifer Lawrencewill portray the woman in Adam McKay’s new biopic,Bad Blood. If you have followed the story, you’ll know Holmes' start up company, Theranos, boasted amazing technology in blood-testing that led Holmes to be the toast of the tech world as well as amassing a fortune. The device could test for hundreds of potential diseases and other health problems with a few drops of blood taken with a finger prick....

Filming onThe Batmanis currently underway. Robert Pattinson is under the cape and cowl and Matt Reeves is in the director’s chair. But, in an alternate universe not too far removed from the one we’re living in, it was Ben Affleck playing the Caped Crusader, in addition to handling directing duties for the highly-anticipated DC Comics adaptation. Sometimes the scariest thing is the face in the mirror. Movies about clones often revolve around similar themes. In some, they are about controlling people by creating them from scratch. In others, it’s about the exploration of science and possibility in ways that ethics and morality stop us. Either way, they are often subtle ways to show mankind truths they refuse to acknowledge. Then again, the purpose of some of these films could just be to show us something unnerving....

TheBlack Panther 2script has not been written yet. Ryan Coogler wrote and directed the first installment and he is back for the highly anticipated sequel. Coogler has the luxury of taking his time since the movie doesn’t even hit theaters until May 2022. So for the Marvel Cinematic Universe fans who are scared by this news, it’s really nothing to worry about.
