Despite previous reports indicating thatSpider-Man 3would not begin filming until next year, Marvel Studios and Sony are now ready to start work on the upcoming comic book sequel, with production slated to begin in New York City next week. Filming onSpider-Man 3is reportedly being hidden under the production title “Serenity Now,” with notices having been spotted all around New York City. While it is currently unknown whether the shoot will feature Tom Holland and the rest of the principle cast, it is exciting to know that ourfriendly neighborhood Spider-Manwill soon be web-slinging back in action protecting the Big Apple from the forces of evil....

Forget Superman! Yes, many fans enjoyed seeingNicolas Cageshow up briefly near the conclusion of Ezra Miller’sThe Flashas an Elseworlds version of the Man of Steel. But it looks like Marvel and Sony might not be limiting Cage to the animated Spider-Verse. According to staff writer, Elaine Low, Cage is in “serious talks” to reprise the character, Spider-Man Noir, for Amazon’s live-action superhero series. Low wrote (viaThe Ankler): “I’m told Nicolas Cage is circling ‘Spider-Man Noir’ as that project gains steam […] Also in the works is Spider-Man Noir, where I’m told Nicolas Cage is in serious talks to take on the lead role on the series, which will be set in 1930s New York City....

Jonah Hill has also joined the gang in the mysterious live show, which currently only has 5 events lined up in Philadelphia and Brooklyn. TheHerandBeing John Malkovichdirector will direct the stage show, but there aren’t really any other details at the moment. However, things will definitely get weird to keep the spirit of the Beastie Boys alive....

Sylvester Stalloneis continually fixing theRambo: Last Bloodscript in between takes during production. The actor posted a picture of himself tweaking the screenplay on social media, noting that “A writer’s job is never done…” From the photo, and the second half of the caption, Stallone is filming some of the more mellow scenes, which involve him driving a tractor, or “Earth mover,” as the actor calls it on a farm. John Rambo is attempting to live a normal life back in the United States, but it doesn’t look like he’ll be relaxing any time soon....

Reports surfaced that Marvel Comics legendStan Leewas rushed to Cedars-Sinai hospital on Wednesday night, after suffering shortness of breath and an irregular heartbeat, but the 95-year-old was released from the hospital yesterday. The iconic writer responsible for co-creating some ofMarvel Comicsmost legendary characters, revealed in a Skype interview with Los Angeles news station ABC 7 that he’s doing fine. In this modern age of binge watching, the biggest downside is that, the quicker you get through a show, the longer you have to wait until the new season arrives. 10 months beforeTerminator Genisysopened in theaters over the 4th of July holiday, Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions announced plans for twoTerminatorsequels, set for release in 2017 and 2018 respectively. Back in 2013, Skydance, which paid over $20 million for the franchise rights back in 2011, announced plans for a TV series, hiringZack StentzandAshley Millerto write the script.
