There’s little doubt thatTaylor Swiftis one of the most recognizable faces on the planet. After nearly two years, her Eras Tour is coming to a close this weekend, and it will go down as one of the greatest experiences in history for the more than the 10 million fans who attended her shows. Now, those same fans are speculatingwho should play one of Swift’s closest allies if a biopic about her life is ever made, and front-runnerAmy Adamssays she’s totally on board with the idea.
Appearing onThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon(seen below), Adams was informed by the late night host of the online murmurs between Swiftiescalling for her to play Tree Paine in a biopic about Swift’s life. Paine has been the megastar’s publicist since 2014, with many saying sheresembles theNightbitchstarthanks to their shared red locks. For Adams, she says the prospect is definitely one that appeals to her, especially considering she recently became a huge fan of the “All Too Well” singer.

“That would be amazing. That would be so fun. I mean, if it got me closer to Taylor, then that would be fun. I’ve always liked her music and appreciated her, and then I went to the Eras Tour – a friend of mine had a ticket – and then I became, like, a Swiftie at 50. I became a Swiftie at 50, so I’m like a shifty 50 Swiftie. Isn’t that nifty?”
7 Shows Taylor Swift Has Endorsed and Proclaimed Her Love For
Let’s take a look now at some TV shows that Taylor Swift has endorsed and proclaimed her love for over the years.
Don’t get too excited, though,as a Swift biopic is not in the works at this time, and for now it’s all fan-casting. The closest we got this year is the Lifetime holiday movieChristmas in the Spotlight, which plays fast and loose with the storied romance between Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The fictional tale was inspired by the pair, who have been dating since the summer of 2023, and are still going strong.

Amy Adams Shines in ‘Nightbitch’
Set to hit theaters on Dec. 6, Adams takes on the roleof a stay-at-home mom who sometimes transforms into a doginNightbitch, an adaptation of Rachel Yoder’s phenomenal 2021 novel of the same name. It’s a far cry from playing the part of a publicist, and one that Adams owns in the new flick, which premiered at TIFF back in September, and has already taken home numerous festival trophies.
Could Adams be in the running for a Best Actress Oscar next year? It’s possible when you consider just how much she shines in the movie. Look, the premise is out there, we admit that, but she plays it straight as Mother in the horror-comedy, which examines themes of gender equality, bodily autonomy, and the perils of parenthood and how it changes a woman. Her performance is second to none, and honestly, if Emma Stone can win one forPoor Things, then we think Adams should at least be in the conversation come awards season.

you may judge for yourselfwhether we speak the truthwhenNightbitchopens nationwide this weekend, and look for it to stream on Hulu in the coming months.
