Rey uses the Jedi Mind Trick and Chewie speaks up in the latestStar Wars 9 TV spot. Lucasfilm and Disney are going into promotional overdrive as the release date nears. We’re now less than three weeks away from the final installment in the Skywalker Saga hitting theaters and we’re still getting teased with new footage. With that being said, J.J. Abrams and crew have done a good job teasing without giving away a whole lot of the main storyline. We know some broad details, but no specifics.

The latest look atThe Rise of Skywalkertakes a lot of the footage we’ve seen in past spots and trailers, but adds little bits of extra dialogue. For instance, when we see thatStormtroopers can flyon the desert planet of Pasaana, we hear Chewbacca weigh in on the situation. We previously heard C-3PO, Finn, and Poe talk about the obvious, but now we finally hear it from the Wookiee perspective, which sounds like he wants everybody to focus on the task at hand instead of messing around. We also see Rey use the oldJedi Mind Trickto persuade some weak-minded Stormtroopers to let her pass. Elsewhere, there’s a huge mystery explosion.

Chewbacca has had it pretty rough during the sequel trilogy. His life partner Han Solo was killed off in 2015’sThe Force Awakensand then his estranged buddy Luke Skywalker sacrificed it all during the final moments of 2017’sThe Last Jedi. Hopefully Lando is coming along to spend the rest of his life with the Wookiee, or at least joining the rest of The Resistance to fight The First Order for the final time. Regardless, Chewie seems to be taking everything okay, despite all of the sadness in his life leading up toThe Rise of Skywalker.

The Rise of Skywalkercast includes the return of Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, and Billie Lourd. Carrie Fisher is a part of the cast, thanks to leftover footage fromThe Force Awakens. Joining the cast are Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, Dominic Monaghan, and Keri Russell. Fisher will also be joined by veteranStar Warsactors Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Billy Dee Williams, and Warwick Davis, who is reportedly back as Wicket W. Warrick, the Ewok. We haven’t seen the Ewoks on the big screen sinceReturn of the Jedi.

Hopes are high forThe Rise of Skywalkerat the moment. Box office finds thefinal movie in the Star Wars sequel trilogy to be tracking lessthan the previous installment, but not by much. If the early reactions to the movie are positive, it will go a long way in gettingStar Warsfans who were on the fence ready to hit theaters for the opening weekend, which will more than likely be a madhouse. But, that’s all a part of the fun when going to check out the latest in the franchise. You can check out the latest TV spot above, thanks to the Star Wars YouTube channel.
