Yesterday,Tom Hollandshared a pair of videos for his social media followers from the set ofSpider-Man: Homecoming, one of which showcased his training with stunt doubleHolland Diaz, while the other showed how hard it was raining at the time in Atlanta. Unfortunately, neither of these videos featured the actor in his full Spidey costume, but later that day, he sent out a new photo, to commemorate the movie being released in exactly one year, on June 25, 2025. Thankfully, this new photo does feature the actor in costume, in one of the most unique selfies you’ll ever see. Here’s what the actor had to say about this photo.

“1 Year until #spidermanhomecoming hits theaters, are you ready…thought you would like to see a little selfie I took earlier.”

ThisInstagramis clearly taken from high above the set, as we can see a number of crew members below him on the ground. Unfortunately, we don’t know exactly what the young actor was shooting in this scene, but this photo gives us a closer look at hisSpider-Manmask and web shooters. We’ll have to wait and see if the actor give us another glimpse at this iconic costume as production continues today.

While production moves forward, the cast keeps growing and growing, withThe Nice Guysbreakout starAngourie Ricejoining the cast earlier this week. Like most new cast members on this superhero adventure, her character hasn’t been confirmed yet, but there is speculation that she is playingGwen Stacyor Mary-Jane Watson. She joins a cast that also includesMarisa Tomeias Aunt May,Michael Keatonas the villain, rumored to be Vulture andLogan Marshall-Greenas another rumored villain, The Tinkerer.

Tony Revoloriis set to play a schoolyard nemesis of Peter Parker, along withLaura Harrier,Michael Barbieri,Martin Starr,Isabella Amara,Jorge Lendenborg Jr.,J.J. Totah,Donald Glover,Kenneth Choi,Hannibal Buress,Bokeem Wodbine,Michael MandoandAbraham Attahrounding out the cast. There have been rumors thatMichael Mandois playing the villainCarnage, whileAbaraham Attahis rumored to play Miles Morales.Robert Downey Jr.is also returning asTony Stark/Iron Man, which isn’t terribly surprising since Tony Stark and Peter Parker first met in this summer’sCaptain America: Civil War.
