Today we have a new video fromDwayne Johnson, which shows how he can get on his co-stars' bad side, along with a photo ofKevin Hartusing a rock to become taller than The Rock, andKaren Gillan’s stunt doubles. It seems there’s never a dull moment on the set ofJumanji 2with this cast.
The video, whichDwayne Johnsonposted toInstagramearlier today, shows him being driven to the set, while the rest of his co-stars are forced to walk. The video shows thatKevin Hartisn’t terribly pleased that The Rock gets to drive, while passing the rest of his co-stars, includingJack Black,Karen GillanandNick Jonas. While we haven’t seen them on the set at this time, we reported last week that the production has added four more cast members,Alex Wolf,Ser’Darius Blain,Madison IsemanandMorgan Turner.Alex Wolff, the brother ofThe StandandDeath NotestarNat Wolff, is playing a young boy named Spencer, who’s avatar in theJumanjigame isDwayne Johnson’s character,Dr. Smolder Bravestone.Ser’Darius Blain,Madison IsemanandMorgan Turnerare playing the other “real-world kids,” but we don’t know which avatars will represent them inJumanji 2.
The remake has come under a bit of controversy as well, withKaren Gillan’s skimpy costume coming under scrutiny when the first photo was released featuring her alongside her fully dressed male co-stars.Karen Gillanherself addressed the controversy, stating on social media that there is a good reason she is wearing “child sized clothes.” Many have theorized could mean that her character has been trapped in the game since she was a kid, and has simply grown out of those clothes, which could be confirmed after the casting and story details that surfaced last week.
