In May 2023, fans of theTo All the Boys I’ve Loved Beforemovies were blessed with the continuation of one of the Covey girls’ stories, and it is an exhilarating one. In Jenny Han’s comedy romantic drama series,XO, Kitty, Kitty (Anna Cathcart), the younger sister of Lara Jean (Lana Condor), is at the center of attention. Accepted to KISS (Korean International School of Seoul), the same school her long-distance boyfriend Dae (Choi Min-yeong) attends, Kitty is moving to Seoul and ready to drop the ultimate surprise.

However, when she arrives and Dae is cuddling up with another girl, her expectations are crushed. A long road of confusion lies ahead of her until a misunderstanding is cleared up, and she finally ends up with Dae. For at least some time, that is, because teenage love is confusing. Duh. Classic move, considering that the series is an expansion of theTo All the Boysuniverse.

Anna Cathcart in XO, Kitty

The first season of theNetflixseries was already filled with Kitty’s ups and downs regarding love and friendships, but it wasn’t even nearly enough, and the desire for some more Covey action is definitely there. On July 02, 2025, the wait will finally be over because Season 2 ofXO, Kittywill be available to stream on Netflix, and it might leave you shocked with some massive twists.

‘XO, Kitty’s’ Bombshell Cliffhanger in Season 1

The new season of Netflix’sXO, Kittywill be all about Kitty’s return to KISS, but the first season set up a massive twist, and it’s actually cruel to have almost two years between the two release dates. At the end ofXO, Kitty’s last episode, Kitty just boarded a plane to go back home. There, she not only read one of her late mother’s letters, in which she found out that her first love’s name was Simon, but she also looked next to her and found Min Ho (Lee Sang-heon), of all people.

While finding out about her mom’s lover boy Simon will certainly take up a good amount of time in the new season, so will the fact that Min Ho literally confessed his feelings to Kitty. Clearly, the first season ofXO, Kittywas already a massive roller coaster regarding Kitty’s feelings, but with Min Ho’s confession, things are only going to get much more complicated. The fact that he is also Dae’s best friend, could add fuel to the fire and cause some serious conflicts between the three. It might turn out to be one ofthe best love triangles ever, to be completely honest.

Who Does Kitty End Up With In XO, Kitty, Explained

XO, Kitty was a success at Netflix. With all the love options in it, here is what you need to know about who Kitty ends up with.

Kitty’s Feelings for Yuri in Netflix’s ‘XO, Kitty’

Season 1 ofXO, Kittyalso highlighted Kitty’s confusion with all things love, but from a different point of view. Even though Yuri (Kim Gia) and Kitty didn’t start on a good note, they started to grow closer with each other as Kitty tried to find out where and who her brother might be. Over time, Kitty found out about Yuri’s sexuality. She also discovered that Yuri’s girlfriend Juliana (Regan Aliyah) was sent away because Yuri’s parents didn’t allow their relationship.

Kitty, even though she thought she was set on Dae, caught herself thinking about Yuri in a romantic way and started questioning her own sexuality. When she continuously felt the urge to be close to Yuri, she revealed her worries to Dae and broke things off with him. The second season ofXO, Kittywon’t be any easier for Kitty because both Yuri and Juliana are in the picture, and Kitty’s feelings are nowhere close to being gone. The drama in this series definitely comes close to some ofthe best K-dramas of 2024, but luckily enough, a major surprise guest is always ready to give her a much-needed pep talk.
