Production is still under way in Europe, so it may be quite some time before we see the first trailer.

This project has been in development for several years, and beforeDylan O’Briencame aboard,Chris Hemsworthwas reportedly offered $10 million to play Mitch Rapp, but he turned it down due to scheduling issues.Lorenzo di Bonaventura(Transformers,Deepwater Horizon,Salt) andNick Wechsler(The Road,Magic Mike) are producing the film.American Assassinwill be the latest release in the partnership between CBS Films and Lionsgate.
