Sometimes theinitial cast of a production isn’t the finalcast. Sure, many have to go through auditions and are chosen based on that, previous performances, and occasionally, who they’re connected to. The actress was supposed to star opposite Jordan in the remake of the classic film starring Western actor Steve McQueen. In the role, Russell was an independent investigatorcontracted by a bank’s insurance company to investigate a heist committed by an adventurous banking executive who was simply bored (Jordan’s character). Faye Dunaway originally played the role in the 1968 production, and Rene Russo in the 1990s remake.

Will Michael B. Jordan Perform His Own Stunts in ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’?
Michael B. Jordan’s resume consistsof a variety of different projects that demonstrate his ability to step into the life of any character. Portraying Steve McQueen’s Thomas Crown could be tough, as the actor, dubbed “The King of Cool”, performed his own stunts in the 1968 movie. Will Jordan do the same? Everyone will just have to wait and see. The actor did portray twins inSinnersand was a villain inBlack Panther, so nothing is impossible.Steve McQueen was also known for being wildand riding motorcycles, so maybe stepping into McQueen’s life for a bit on set could help him with the role.
