Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur: The Plot

Marvel’s Moon Girl is none otherthan Lunella Lafayette, a New York City girl who is described as a gifted student in school, a loving friend, and an adoring daughter and granddaughter. She leads a busy life studying science and technology and being present for her family. Even though Lunella is only at the tender age of 13, she is unstoppable. Her world is a fast-paced one in which she takes matters into her own hands whenever she is presented with a problem.

The official synopsis reads:

“Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” follows 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette (aka Moon Girl) and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur, as they protect New York City’s Lower East Side from danger."

Her friend in the trailer calls her a “crazy genius,” and it seems she certainly is, as she manages to transport a dinosaur to modern times in her lab at school. When Lunella finds out that her family is planning a move to New Jersey to get away from rising crime in the city, the teen is devastated by the thought of leaving. However, the show hilariously intends “no disrespect to Jersey.” Lunella decides to stay and fight crime and danger in the city herself for as long as she can. And, just maybe, she can buy a stay of execution from being whisked away from her beloved Big Apple, all with the help of her new dinosaur friend.

Moon Girl and her Devil Dinosaur may be in for more than they bargained for. Her brilliance as a scientist and successful transportation of a dinosaur intomodern-day New York Cityattracts the attention of every kind of supervillain from all over who quickly come knocking on her door. But with the support of her family and the management skills of her best friend Casey, it is nothing Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur can’t handle, as we’ll soon see!
