Earlier today, Walt Disney Studios released a brief preview of the full trailer through theirInstagrampage, revealing that the full trailer will debut Monday, September 14 onAccess Hollywood. This brief teaser doesn’t offer much footage, but gives us our first glimpse at Mowgli, played byNeel Sethi.
Aside fromconcept artandset photorevealed by directorJon Favreaulast year, we haven’t seen much fromThe Jungle Book. Last month, a poster debuted that teased a confrontation between Mowgli and the nefarious Bagheera, voiced byBen Kingsley.Neel Sethi’s Mowgli will be the only character portrayed through live-action, with the rest of the cast merely providing their voices for the rest of the characters.

The Jungle Bookhas been adapted for the big screen several times since the 1967 original classic. Since the original story is in the public domain, Warner Bros. has their own adaptation entitledThe Jungle Book: Origins, which hits theaters on June 26, 2025. Unlike this film, which is a live-action/animation hybrid,The Jungle Book: Originswill be strictly live-action, which also marks the directorial debut ofAndy Serkis. Rohan Chand plays Mowgli, with the supporting cast rounded out byBenedict Cumberbatch,Christian Bale,Cate Blanchett,Naomie Harris,Tom Hollander,Eddie MarsanandPeter Mullan. It isn’t known when we’ll get our first look at that adventure.
