Now we have word that another actor has joined the cast, with comedianJack Blacksigning on as an unspecified character. The actor will joinDwayne JohnsonandKevin Hart, and there are still two major roles left to be cast.
The Wrapbroke the news onJack Black’s casting, but no details have been given in regards to whom he’ll be playing.Dwayne Johnsonchimed in on the casting himself through Instagram, teasing that fans will “understand” who his character is when it’s revealed. Take a look at the actor’s statement that he posted just an hour ago.

InDwayne Johnson’s earlier post from this week, he revealed that, while the originalJumanjionly had three main roles, this remake will feature five primary characters. The actor also teased that his “buddies” have been shuffling around other projects to hopefully be a part ofJumanji, but as of now, onlyDwayne Johnson,Kevin Hartand nowJack Blackhave been confirmed. No story details have been announced, but earlier reports claimed the plot follows a 12-year-old boy trapped in a board game back in 1969 who is released 45 years later.Dwayne Johnsonalso revealed that this remake will pay tribute to the lateRobin Williams, who starred in theoriginal Jumanjias Alan Parrish.
