Adkins, who is well-known to action fans thanks to his roles in the likes of theUndisputedfranchise,Accident Man, Avengement,andOne Shot, has finally seen his star rise thanks to his scene-stealing part as Killa Harkan, the head of the German Table, inJohn Wick: Chapter 4. Now, he’s fighting for his life as a prisoner of war.
New details have now emerged about the project, withthe war action thrillerchanging its title fromDeath MarchtoPrisoner of War. The movie was picked up for distribution by Well Go USA at the end of last year, withPrisoner of Warhaving now been given a September release window (via Action-Flix).

Directed by Louis Mandylor, who previously shared the screen with Adkins in theDebt Collectorfranchise,Prisoner of Waris based on the true storyof the Bataan death march, which saw thousands of Filipino and U.S. prisoners of war being forced to walk between 60 and 70 miles following the Japanese victory at the Battle of Bataan.
