Jeff Loveness has written forJimmy Kimmel Live!,Miracle Workers, and most famously forRick & Morty. His production work on the lattermost has also won him an Emmy Award. Loveness’ expertise with humor also landed him the job of penning downAnt-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, set in theMarvel Cinematic Universe. And most recently, Marvel Studioshired him to writeAvengers: The Kang Dynasty, a film that willdirectly tie in with theAnt-Manthreequel.And Loveness responded to the news in his own way, with a hilarious tweet. After being given the responsibility of helming Marvel’s blockbuster project, Loveness asked the fans to teach him how to write a movie for the screen.

Hey, how do you write a movie?, tweeted Jeff.

Loveness’ tweet got a further boost with a perfect response from Chip Zdarsky. Zdarsky is an Eisner-award-winning writer and illustrator known for writing several comic book stories, includingThe Spectacular Spider-ManandBatman. Zdarsky went on to write a fictional scene forThe Kang Dynastyfeaturing Reed Richards and Wolverine in the official screenplay writing format, giving Loveness a crash course on writing a film.

The scene also references the numerous theories and rumors ofX-Menofficially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the time the culminatingAvengersmovies ofThe Multiverse Sagaarrive. Marvel Studios is already developingFantastic Four, set to release as the first film of MCU Phase Six, meaning that Zdarsky’s imaginative response to Jeff’s tweet may take a similar or not the exact shape inAvengers: The Kang Dynasty.

Jonathan Majors as Kang in Loki

Avengers: The Kang DynastyWill Have the Heroes facing Jonathan Majors

There is nothing much known aboutAvengers: The Kang Dynasty. But, owing to the name, it’s clear that Jonathan Majors will take the stage as the movie’s primary antagonist and the next big baddie of the MCU. The film will be inspired by the comic book series Kang Dynasty, also referred to as Kang War. The series features Kang and his son Marcus launching a deadly invasion on Earth, which results in several catastrophic conflicts, events like the destruction of the U.N. building, and Washington’s wipeout. Thefilm will make considerate changes to the content from the comicsto fit it in the existing MCU lore, but it will be Jonathan Majors against a massive lineup of Avengers.

Feige had earlier said about Majors that there are no one else’s shoulders he will put the responsibility of anchoring MCU’s multiverse saga on. Majors earlier made an appearance inLoki Season 1. His character, He Who Remains, was a variant of Kang The Conqueror and was responsible for all the franchise events up until his demise. The season finale suggested that his death branched off alternate realities of the sacred timeline.

More will be revealed aboutThe Kang Dynastyas events of the upcoming films and Disney+ originals shape up the future of the franchise and lead up to the culminating events of the franchise’s second saga.

Avengers: The Kang Dynastywill be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously helmedShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ringsfor Marvel Studios. Cast members besides Majors are not known as of yet, and the film is set to release on June 03, 2025.
