A new creepy poster forIT Chapter Twohas been released ahead of the trailer drop tomorrow morning. Director Andres Muschietti will be on hand at San Diego Comic-Con tonight to kick the festivities off at the ScareDiego event, where he will more than likely preview the new footage for fans who are lucky enough to be in attendance. The director has been hyping the sequel on social media ahead of tonight’s event and the trailer release, and he is pretty confident in his ability to scare people.

Pennywise is staring us down in the mostly white poster forIT Chapter Two. The clown’s red makeup above his eyes is what really draws people in and then there’s the fact that the poster says, “IT ENDS” at the top. It’s a minimal and very effective design for the sequel, which will surely be all overComic-Conthis weekend, no matter if people want to see it or not. As for the trailer release, the new footage will drop at 9 AM Pacific Time, so set your alarms and come back here to peep what is sure to be our most terrifying look at the sequel yet.

IT Chapter Two poster

Andres Muschietti is prepared for fans to be mortified of what he and his crew have done to close out Stephen King’sIT. The first trailer was unnerving to say the least and ended right before things were starting to get very interesting. With that being said, Muschietti is also sure that he has crafted something that will separate itself from the first chapter and give audiences a brand-new feeling of dread whenBill Skarsgard’s Pennywiseshows up on the screen to torment the adult version of the Losers' Club.

James McAvoy and Bill Haderhave both admitted to being terrified of Bill Skarsgard on theIT Chapter Twoset. While making the first movie, Andres Muschietti had Skarsgard separated from his younger co-stars to maximize their reactions when the cameras started rolling. Things changed for the sequel, but the scare tactics and element of surprise remained the same as Skarsgard was able to properly scare the hell out of his adult co-stars even after sharing lunch with them and shooting the breeze in between takes. Tim Curry’s version of Pennywise in the early 1990s was terrifying and Skarsgard has gotten right up there with him, while even taking things a bit further.

IT Chapter Twohits theaters on September 6th and horror fans can’t wait. Thankfully, the studio has offered us another glimpse at the highly anticipated sequel to tide us over while we wait a few more weeks to see what Bill Skarsgard’s Pennywise can do with theadult version of the Losers' Club.
