Today, starGal Gadotconfirmed that she has wrapped on her portion of the solo DC adventure. Her last scenes took place in Italy, with the country standing in forDiana Prince’s homeland of Themyscira. “Today was my last day shooting the solo Wonder Woman movie! It’s been such an amazing, exciting, dreamy, happy and fascinating experience I will cherish it forever. Thank you to everyone who was involved, our amazing cast, crew and phenomenal director.”

While there are no reports on how many scenes are left, there is some speculation that principle photography could last for a couple more weeks onWonder Woman. It is believed that all ofGal Gadot’s scene were shot early so that she could move ontoJustice League, which is currently shooting in London.Wonder Womanis the third billed lead in the DC superhero ensemble, and it’s likely that production schedules were strategically worked out to seamlessly transition the actress from one project to the next.
