An all-new poster has just been unveiled for the upcoming Disney sequelFrozen 2, depicting Elsa and Anna front and center for their next animated adventure. Also revealed by Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Animation Studios is that the official trailer for the movie will be released tomorrow to give fans their first full look at what’s to come in the sequel. While the poster doesn’t show us much beyond the two sisters standing in a foggy forest, it does serve as an adequate tease to hold us over until we can manage to watch the trailer in its entirety in just one more day.
We don’t know full details about the movie’s plot just yet, but it will bring back all of the characters from the original for an all-new adventure outside of their hometown ofArendelle. Returning cast members include Idina Menzel as Queen Elsa, Kristen Bell as Anna, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, Josh Gad as Olaf, and Santino Fontana as Hans. Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld) and Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us) are also going to be a part of the voice cast, each playing new characters to the franchise. Presumably, we will know much more about the plot as well as the roles of the new voice talent once the full trailer hits the web tomorrow.

Released in 2013, the originalFrozenwas co-directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, using a screenplay written by Lee. It tells the story of ayoung princess named Elsawho discovers she has magical powers, with the ability to materialize ice and snow at any time. As a child, this proves to make for some fun playtime with her sister Anna, but her parents find it best to keep Elsa’s talents hidden from the rest of the world. This results in Elsa living as a recluse in her own special ice castle far away from civilization, but proves her worth when Anna and the people of Arendelle need her help.
It would be an understatement to say that the movie was a huge success. While it was produced with a hefty budget of $150 million, the project wound up topping $1.2 billion in ticket sales at the worldwide box office.Frozenis also thehighest-grossing animated movie of all timeand the 14th highest-grossing movie ever made overall.
