In just a few short days, AMC’sThe Walking Deadwill return to close out the back half ofSeason 6, but this spring, fans will also get to see the L.A. survivors' story unfold whenFear the Walking Deadreturns forSeason 2. As we get closer to theFear the Walking Dead Season 2premiere on April 10,Entertainment Weeklyhas debuted a new trailer which teases there is “no safe harbor” for Travis (Cliff Curtis), Madison (Kim Dickens) and their family. The first season ofFear the Walking Deadended with Travis, Madison, Alicia (Alycia Debnam Carey), Nick (Frank Dillane) and Daniel (Rubén Blades) getting ready to escape Los Angeles on Strand’s (Colman Domingo) massive yacht. Thisnew trailershows a brief shot featuring a life raft full of new survivors, along with new footage that shows escalating tensions on the boat. Here’s what executive producer Dave Erickson had to say about what these survivors will face in the new season.
“You’re going to see a bunch of seabound refugees over the course ofSeason 2. And much in the same way that we have taken steps to survive and compromised our morals to do so, we’re going to have to deal with some people who have very similar objectives, and the default setting for most of these people is not going to be, let’s all live in harmony and try to build a new community. It’s going to be, how do we protect what’s ours? How do we protect our family? So there’s going to be a very serious threat from other people, as there is constantly onThe Walking Dead.”
Fear the Walking Deadwill air its second season of 15 episodes in two parts, beginning with the first of seven episodes on Sunday, April 10th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The remaining eight episodes will air later in 2016.
