This weekend, Marvel hit Hall H at Comic-Con like a nuclear bomb, delivering their MCU Phase 4 line-up, which spans two years, five movie and five TV shows. One of the Disney+ streaming series to be confirmed isThe Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which will continue their story after the end ofAvengers: Endgame.

Now we have word thatDaniel Brühlwill be returning to reprise his role asCaptain America: Civil Warvillain Helmut Zemo. Or Baron Zemo as he is called sometimes in the comics. Now, we have a look at Zemo’s return direct from the actor himself. And though it has been somewhat obscured, we get to see that Bruhl will be wearing the classic purple costume from the Marvel Comic Books, which he abandoned in the movie.

Daniel Bruhl showed off the images on his private Instagram account. We get to see him in the flesh, out of his villainous attire, and we also get to see him with that infamous, iconic mask that some comic fans absolutely adore.

We don’t know much aboutThe Falcon and the Winter SolderTV series just yet. None of the story details have been laid out in any concrete manner. We know thatAnthony Mackiewill be returning to pick up the shield once carried by Captain America. And Sebastian Stan will be returning as Bucky. We’ve also learned thatJohn Wickcreator Derek Kolstad has integrated himself into the creative staff, helping to write episodes. Though his full contributions haven’t been identified at this early stage in the game.

It’s safe to say from these first look images that shooting has begun on theDisney+ series, which is one of five new shows heading to the streaming service as part of Marvel’s Phase 4. The other shows includeLoki, which finds the God of Mischief time traveling with the Time Stone after he steals it inAvengers: Endgame.WandaVisionalso takes place after the events ofEndgame, with a story that will tie directly into the recently announced sequelDoctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.Hawkeyewill be getting his own series. And the fifth TV show under the banner isWhat If…?, an animated look at the alternate timelines in the MCU, with the episodes all taking place within the Infinity Saga that began with Iron Man in 2008 and ended withAvengers: Endgamethis summer.

Emily VanCamp is expected to reprise her role as Sharon Carter inThe Falcon and The Winter Soldier, but she hasn’t been officially confirmed at this time. Neither she nor Zemo have appeared in the MCU since 2016. It is believed thatThe Falcon and The Winter Soliderwill only run for 6 episodes, and it is unclear if Disney+ is planning to have a Season 2 for any of its shows. Each show may be contained within its particular phase.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldieris expected to hit Disney+ streaming sometime in the Summer of 2020. The projected month right now is August, but that could change. you’re able to check out the images direct fromDaniel Bruhl’s Instagram.
