Much like the rumoredSpider-Gwen, it’s actually Gwen Stacy who gets bit by the radioactive spider. She is seen going up against the iconic villain Vulture (shown in this trailer asBirdman), while trying to deal with her father, played inThe Amazing Spider-ManbyDenis Leary.

WhenMarvelannounced their deal with Sony Pictures to bring Spidey into theMarvel Cinematic Universe, it was believed that all of Sony’s spinoff projects, such asThe Sinister Six, were dead. However,Drew Goddard, who was set to write and directThe Sinister Six, revealed that the spinoff may still happen at Marvel, stating that his project wouldn’t tie intoSpider-Man’s continuity. If this project does actually happen at Marvel, there could be a chance thatSpider-Gwencould happen as well.
