This latest sneak peek features the debut of Maui’s song, “You’re Welcome,” written by Tony Award Winner & Hamilton creatorLin-Manuel Miranda. To celebrate,Dwayne Johnsonwill be revealing exclusive behind-the-scenes moments from his recording session with Miranda as part of his first ever Instagram Story. We’ll bring you these behind-the-scenes videos as soon as they surface this morning.
This scene comes exactly one week afterDwayne Johnsonunveiled the first clip, which showed Maui meeting the young title character, voiced by newcomerAuli’i Cravalho, for the first time. This second scene seems to take place shortly after that first meeting, with Maui using this song to explain all of the things he has done for her.
