Also starring in this harrowing ride isGoosebumpsstar Dylan Minnette andDaniel Zovatto, who you may remember from last year’sIt Follows. That horror movie was a huge genre sensation in 2015, andDon’t Breatheis looking to pick up that mantle this year.
With a story set in the dark and dangerous areas ofDetroit,Don’t Breathefollows a group of three teenage friends who decided it’s a good idea to break into the house of a wealthy blind man. They believe they’ll be able to pull off the perfect heist. But they are dead wrong.Avatar’sStephen Langshows up in a memorable performance as the blind man. The movie was shot last summer in Budapest and on location in Detroit. The thriller is set for late summer, arriving on August 26.
