After months of rumors and speculation, actressRachel McAdamsconfirmed toThe Wrapthat she has signed on to star inMarvel’sDoctor Strange. We reported back in July that the actress was offered the female lead inDoctor Strange, and while the actress has admitted that negotiations were taking place, this is the first we’ve heard that her deal has been finalized. It isn’t known yet who she is playing, but there have already been rumors about her character.
A few weeks after the initialRachel McAdamsrumor surfaced, another report claimed that she might actually be playing the Night Nurse.Marvel’s Daredevilshowrunner revealed that they had originally castRosario Dawsonas Linda Carter, a.k.a. It isn’t known when Marvel plans on making this news official, but hopefully that announcement will reveal which character she is playing.
