The Emmy Award-winning sitcomCurb Your Enthusiasmwill come to an end with its upcoming twelfth season. Starring Seinfeld creatorLarry Davidas a semi-fictionalized version of himself,Curb Your Enthusiasmfollows Larry’s life as a semi-retired television writer and producer…focusing on all manner of social scenarios that irritate him along the way. Season 12 is scheduled to premiere in February on HBO and Max, with David confirming that it will be the last outing for the show.

Curb Your Enthusiasmhas been expected to end multiple times over the years, with executive producer Jeff Schaffer once saying toVariety, “Every season is the final season.” But, it sounds like the twelfth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm will indeed, finally, for real this time be the last.

Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 12 Will Premiere in February 2024

Beginning life as a one-hour special,Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm, in 1999,Curb Your Enthusiasmwas originally envisioned as a one-off project but eventually spawned 11 (soon to be 12) seasons of some ofthe best sitcom TV in history.

Curb Your Enthusiasmhas featured many an A-list cameo alongside its core cast, with the likes of Ben Stiller, Martin Scorsese, John Hamm, Alanis Morissette, Michael J. Fox, Jerry Seinfeld, Wanda Sykes, and more having brought more drama and irritation into Larry’s world.

Not much is yet known about season 12, though no doubt it will find Larry David on the “wrong” side of various social conventions. David will, of course, return as himself, with the likes of Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, Cheryl Hines, J.B. Smoove, Richard Lewis, Ted Danson and Vince Vaughn also set to return.

Richard Lewis took to social media to react to the news of the show coming to an endafter all these years, saying that it has been like “living in an orgasmic, comedy career dream.”

The twelfth and final season ofCurb Your Enthusiasmis due to debut on 4 February at 10 p.m. on HBO and Max. The 10-episode season will conclude with the season, and now show, finale on 7 April, 2024.
