It has been announced that Iain Armitage, Lance Barber, and Montana Jordan from the spin-off series are going to guest star on the main show. It has not been revealed how this crossover is happening, which is important since the shows have about a thirty-year difference between them. With that being said, it has led to speculation the young Sheldon Cooper is going to meet the older Sheldon Cooper.
