One week from today,Arrowreturns with its first episode of 2016,Blood Debts. When we last saw Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), he was in the midst of running for Mayor of Star City, a story thread that will surely pick up steam in the back half ofSeason 4. Earlier today, executive producerMarc Guggenheimtook to hisTwitteraccount to reveal two campaign posters for Olly’s mayoral run. The posters also feature the websiteOliverQueenForMayor.com, which isn’t actually active, but it may be soon when the show returns.
Blood Debtsfollows Oliver as he must deal with the devastating consequences ofDamien Darhk’s (guest starNeal McDonough) last attack. Seeking revenge, Oliver goes on a brutal manhunt looking for Dahrk. It isn’t quite clear if Oliver’s mayoral campaign will be addressed in this episode, but given the arrival of these new posters, it’s probably a safe bet that his run for mayor will be touched upon.

We also reported earlier this month that the show will feature yet another crossover withThe Flash, although it won’t be quite as big as the epic two-nightcrossover eventfrom last month.Arrowcharacter Diggle (David Ramsey) and his wife Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) will be heading to Central City inThe Flash’s 15th episode this season, to help Team Barry deal with the nefarious King Shark. This fan-favorite character first appeared earlier this season onThe FlashepisodeFury of Firestorm.
Neal McDonough’s Damien Darhk will also cross over into The CW’sThe FlashandDC’s Legends of Tomorrow, although it isn’t known exactly when he will show up. Executive producerMarc Guggenheimalso confirmed last month thatColton Hayneswill make his return to Star City asArsenal, in this season’s 12th episode, which doesn’t have a confirmed air date at this time. We still don’t know why Arsenal is coming back, but he hasn’t been seen since theArrow Season 3, when he gave Thea (Willa Holland) his Arsenal outfit, before leaving town.

Other new characters popping up in Arrow Season 4 include Alexander Calvert as Anarky,Echo Kellumas superhero Mister Terrific,Jimmy Akingbolaas the villainous Baron Blitzkrieg,Jeri Ryanas Jessica Danforth,JR Bourneas Double Down andRutina Wesleyas Lady Cop.
